(no subject)

What is it about me only typing about things that are about me buying something very expensive? Since the last time I posted, I have bought two plane tickets. To the same place. Within two months of each other. I know! I'm supposed to save my money and use it to buy a plane ticket to somewhere I've never been before. However, there is somethings in life that are too important to pass up. Like being able to see my brother play football before he graduates high school.

Slightly on a different tangent - I have almost always regretted the things I haven't done not the things that I have. I didn't do a lot with my friends while I was in high school and college and what do you know? They aren't my friends anymore. So since I've moved to Maryland, and have stopped being so concerned about the affections of a person who is no longer in my life, I have tried incredibly hard to do things with people. Go see movies, hang out, go places. That isn't to say I haven't been doing things on my own. I went to Toronto and to movies and shopping all by myself because that is the type of person that I am.

Anyways. I wanted to go back to California for Christmas and see my brother play football and I am going to do just that. Have a mentioned that credit cards are a lovely invention?
